What's up my peeps? I'm just chillin here in my chair enjoying another slow day at the office. I solved my lunch dilemma yesterday, I chose Quizno's, and they did not disappoint. I'm faced with with the same dilemma I had yesterday but I have already ruled out Quizno's since I ate there yesterday.
If you've read my title of this post you'll know it's Never Ending Pancakes at IHOP. This is my favorite time of year, I love IHOP's pancakes. So yesterday my parents took me, Louwisa, and my brother in law to IHOP so we could enjoy this celebration. My Brother in Law, Josh, and I were looking forward to eating as many pancakes as possible. The waitress told us that some guy had ate 26 earlier that day. I was like, I'm gonna beat it, the record is mine. I'm thinking if I can get 27, they might put a picture of me on the wall with my record, they might even name a booth after me. And so the journey to 27 pancakes began. This is where the bad service begins, I ate my eggs, hash browns, and sausage links, and the two pancakes that come with it. I just need 25 more pancakes now. So, I waited for my waitress to come back and ask me if I wanted more pancakes. She never came back! I sat there for a few minutes with empty plates thinking she would see them and come over and pick them up and get more pancakes. She must have went blind at this time of the day because she never came. So I did what we were all taught to do, raise your hand when you have a question or need something. I raised my hand high, still nothing! I kept it raised, even when all the blood left my arm I held it up with my other hand. Still nothing! The manager didn't even come and check on me! So finally another waitress came over and got my pancake situation resolved. She put the order in and I had to wait for 15 minutes before I got 3 more pancakes. I was furious at this point. I ate my 3 pancakes and then left. I only had 5 pancakes and I needed 22 more, so thanks to IHOP for ruining my pancake night and making me miss the first 15 minutes of Chuck.
I love IHOP and I have never had a problem with them before. The food was good last night but the service was horrible. Hopefully within the next few days I will make my way back to IHOP and go for the 27 pancake record. If you would like to go with me or set the record with me, give me a yell and will arrange a time to stick it to IHOP. I hope IHOP reads this blog, maybe they'll give me my first 30 pancakes for free or something.
Yummm..... SIDE NOTE brought to you by Red Robin:
Why isn't there a Red Robin around here? I see commercials all the time for them but there is not one for me to go eat at. So I challenge Red Robin to put one of their restaurants here in Huntington, WV, because it's time for a change.

Dude, there's a Red Robin in Burlington and it sucks! The burgers are like ten bucks a piece and they're not even that good. Stick with IHOP.
