And Now Back to Regular TV

Awww...... The election is over, some people are happy and some are disappointed (I'm disappointed). The good news is, I can finally watch TV without having to hear all the attack adds that every candidate put out. I realize that even though my candidate did not win I still have to support our leader. I pray that God watches over this country and gives our new leaders the ability to run this country to their full potential. I do have to say watching everyone gather around in parks, hotels, and plaza's in support of their candidate was pretty amazing. I sat there and just thought how great it is to live in a country where we can elect our leaders, poke fun at them, and say what we don't like about them. There are a lot of people in this world who do not have that right, and I just wondered what they thought when they saw all this on TV, when they saw how passionate this country was about this election. Listen the guy I wanted to win did not win, but when I take a step back, look around, I realize just how truly blessed I am to live here in this country. I may not always like the people we elect to office, but the good news is, in 4 years we get to vote them out!

I am excited to finally watch tv again. The adds were getting pretty nasty these past few weeks. Even when you turned the channel, there was another one. I did tell Louwisa my plans to run for governor in 2012, she's doesn't think I'll do it, but I'll show her. So, I've been waiting to hear back from all my friends and all the people who read this little blog about their opinions on me running for governor. Bad news, I won't be old enough to be governor in 2012. You have to be 30 years old by the time you take office, I'll be 29. Well this sucks, I'm trying to find something I can run for in 2012. If you guys know of anything, let me know and I will begin the campaign process. I just googled the WV governor qualifications. I'm too young to be a US Senator to in 2012. I'm going to have to go with something local it looks like, get my foot in door before I become the most powerful man in America. As of right now, 2020 is still my year to fun for president. I'm going to do some research on what I can run for and I will get back to you. So your assignment today is, think of an awesome campaign slogan for me. Peace Out!

Change This! SIDE NOTE brought to you by Travis Adkins for President 2020:
